As the summer heat fades away, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement for the arrival of fall. Something about cool, crisp mornings and the chance to finally layer up in cozy sweaters and chic blazers excites me for the season ahead. Fall has always been the best season for fashion to turn theatrical, dramatic, nostalgic, and a bit luxurious and layered, and this year is no exception.
Fall 2026 is proof you don’t have to pick a lane. Some days you want the fashion-finance thing in croc leather and chocolate brown jeans, sharp and expensive-looking, but done in five minutes. And on other days it is just head-to-toe red or that olive and burgundy combo that does all the work for you. Here are a few trends you might incorporate into
your fall wardrobe. Which trend will you attempt first? Tell me in the comments section.

Brown Jeans Fashion Trend

Brown jeans are having a major moment this fall season. With blue jeans ruling the season, the easiest way to refresh your jeans is in chocolate, coffee, and brown shades. For those who are purchasing their first pair of jeans, go for wide-legged or barrel jeans, not skinny jeans, but brown jeans that provide some warmth. They can be paired with white shirts, thick knits, and blazers, along with loafers.
Pops of Red

This fall season, one color is having a major fashion moment: incorporate different shades of red, from cherry red and deep burgundy to tomato red. All shades of red look great with denim, black, beige, brown, camel, cheetah, cow print, and other colors as well. Introducing it in flashes through turtlenecks, bags, gloves, and scarves is a great way to wear it.
Green and Burgundy

Olive and Burgundy Are the Fall Color Combo nobody’s overthinking. An olive sweater and pants combo with a burgundy leather jacket is just right. An olive shirt with burgundy wide pants is just right. The colors are not coordinated, but rather are color-blocked to create a look that was meant to be.
Animal Prints

It’s possible that animal print never really disappeared, but now it’s making a comeback in a cooler version. Following several seasons where leopard print ruled, zebra print is also on trend this autumn. Bambi prints are also trending, along with zebra prints. Rather than bold spots, consider creamy and caramel speckles.Wear these trends for an easy outfit update.
Printed Denim

Printed Jeans Are the Thing Nobody Saw Coming This Fall. Transition from summer to fall with these beautiful floral denim. An easy neutral top and the cutest printed jeans give you an effortlessly put-together look.
Fringe is Trending

This fall season, fringe is trending and serving the major fashion trends. Rather than going all-out bohemian/Western for fall 2026, designers are incorporating movement and texture into suede jackets, skirts, knits, handbags, and even tailored garments. But if you want to invest in one piece, go for suede fringe. It is always a classic choice and provides elegance to your wardrobe.
Croc Leather

This season’s runway shots are all united by the same texture, which is the classic crocodile print that you actually wear to work. Cognac, burgundy, or khaki-colored green looks more luxurious than basic. What makes it click for fall specifically is that croc-embossed leather already looks expensive without trying.
Funnel Neck Jackets

Funnel neck jackets are trending because their high-neck silhouette gives you an expensive, polished look. The outfit doesn’t need much else to stand out, which I like. Throw it on top of jeans and a simple knit, and the collar instantly makes the whole look feel more put together. It’s practical, minimalistic, and has that effortless model-off-duty feel we keep seeing this season.
