Boygenius Tour 2023 Dates Announced For Fall Season

The American indie rock band Boygenius. Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, the group’s members, came together in 2018.

At Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, they wrote and recorded their self-titled debut EP. The band revealed their first studio album, The Record, on January 18, 2023, and it was released on March 31.

How did they create the Boygenius band?

According to Bridgers, the group came together “kind of by accident,” as each member was merely an admirer of one other’s work before becoming close friends.

In 2016, Dacus and Bridgers each supported Baker on different tours. They all moved into the same musical circles as emerging artists navigating the independent sector.
